Annual Mother's Day Brunch
On May 12th, 2002, the WFA hosted our second annual Mother's Day Brunch at
the Lake Isle Country Club in Eastchester, NY. The event was a big success
with over 200 people filling the room. Each mother was greeted with a
rose corsage. The adults enjoyed a beautiful buffet brunch served on
Lake Isle's sunny terrace. The children had a ball singing and dancing
with Scooby-Doo and Shaggy. There was a raffle which gave a child the
opportunity to win a goody basket for his/her mom. It was a
great time for all.
